DESIGNMYFUTURE WEB BANNER (1)

We are a partner in the DesignMyFuture project which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The 3-year DesignMyFuture project started in November 2019 and is led by Leeds Beckett University in the UK.

The aim of the project is to reduce early school leaving, promote positive decision making and prevent young people from entering the job market with insufficient skills.

The project will develop a game that allows young people, predominantly from marginalised groups, to learn about skills that are useful in different areas of life, education or work. Young people will identify the skills they already possess and be encouraged to think about how to attain new skills. The game will allow them to explore their possible future in a safe, playful and engaging way.

Young people, parents/carers and teachers will all be involved in the research and development of this exciting project.

We are delighted to be working on this project with five other international partners and look forward to sharing our research and progress on this project. For full information please visit the project website: designmyfuture.eu

Be part of the project

Secondary school teachers, young people and parents/carers are invited to take part in the research for DesignMyFuture by completing a survey which asks for your views on how young people learn about their skills and future careers.

The survey is completed online and available in several languages so that participants can respond no matter where they are currently working during the coronavirus pandemic. The survey should only take around 15 minutes to complete.
