Growing Talent #BPFS - Schools/Colleges registration

BPFS BANNER 2020

Growing Talent #BPFS is a new programme led by social enterprise Ahead Partnership supported by funding from Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP, BMet, BEP and private sector employers.

It builds on four successful years of activity delivered in Birmingham during Professional Services Week, extending this into a year-round programme of careers and skills activity led by BPFS employers in Birmingham and Solihull.

With current restrictions limiting the opportunity for face-to-face activities, this programme has been specifically designed to include the use of digital resources, recorded events and virtual “live” events.  All aspects of this exciting sector will be covered.

There are a range of activities on offer which will include careers panels, video resources, live brief projects, Meet the Employer events an exciting new Immerse and Progress programme.

The programme launched with a two-week festival in November 2020 where 58 volunteers spanning 23 regional employers committed their time and saw over 15,000 students learn more about the sector. 91% of young people said the festival increased their awareness of different roles in the BPFS sector and 59% said the festival made them more likely to consider a role in #BPFS.

This programme continues throughout 2021 so please register your interest below to take part and access the opportunities on offer for your students.
