Initiative sees students experience health and care skills for the future
75 students from secondary schools in Calderdale and Kirklees have taken part in an exciting skills initiative designed to promote the career opportunities on offer in the health and care sector. Funded by Health Education England, and delivered by Ahead Partnership, the ‘Let’s Talk Health and Care Experience Day’ was designed to help young people understand the different roles and career opportunities on offer and help to fill future skills gaps.

Millennium Point and Ahead Partnership bring West Midlands employers together to inspire over 150 young women with careers in tech
Last week saw digital employers including Goldman Sachs, Avanti West Coast, Pinsent Masons and Intercity Technology meet with 165 young women from schools across the West Midlands, at an event designed to raise awareness of careers in digital and technology, and in turn help improve diversity and encourage social mobility in the sector.
