ABOUT THIS POSITION

Are you passionate about building partnerships with purpose and using your talents to support young people's development?

You’ll be working alongside and supported by a dedicated team who are passionate about making a difference and ambitious for what we can achieve.

We offer generous hourly / day rates. No direct experience is required as full training will be provided. Prior experience working with young people, working within education or teaching would be an advantage.

ABOUT US

Ahead Partnership works with employers and educators to provide services that help to engage, inspire and motivate young people around skills, career options and future employment. Can you bring passion and individuality to our growing programmes?

We organise and deliver a range of employability and skills activities that enable young people to meet volunteers from the working world. The activities are aimed at raising aspirations, improving careers awareness, developing essential skills, building confidence, and expanding networks.

Recent years have allowed us to broaden our reach through hybrid delivery, with activities taking place both virtually and in-person, from interview practice to workplace visits. All our activity is created to engage with the target cohort and involves lots of hands on, interactivity. We also plan and deliver large-scale flagship events themed around a specific sector such as digital, green or professional and financial services. These inspire young people to explore roles in these areas, through an interactive and informative event schedule.

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do and as our representative, you’ll need to share our commitment to delivering a first-class service to all those involved in our activities and events.

We are always keen to connect with anyone who is interested in becoming part of our team, so if you would like to enquire please contact us.

We work with a hugely diverse range of young people across the UK, and believe that it is key to provide them with positive role models who they can relate to. We therefore are incredibly passionate about diversity and inclusion in all forms and would love to hear from people who reflect this. If you share our passion and vision but are worried that you may not have the ‘correct’ skills or experience, please do get in touch – we are always interested in hearing from people who want to work with us.

Apply for this position.

The role is subject to satisfactory references, a satisfactory DBS check, and a six-month probation period
