UNLOCKING POTENTIAL

Working with industry leaders and top employers in the digital and technology space, our programmes aim to raise awareness and aspirations of the many and varied careers available in the sector

Ready to get started?

87% of advertised jobs in the UK require digital skills yet the vast majority of businesses report difficulty in recruiting candidates with the skills they need.

Our programmes are designed to address the specific skills gaps in digital and develop a pipeline of future talent by targeting young people that do not currently see their place in these jobs. Working together we aim to break down barriers and address misconceptions to improve the diversity of the future workforce and ensure digital jobs are accessible to everyone.

WHY GET INVOLVED

Your involvement will help young people find their place in digital and technology

Our interactive activities help young people understand that digital skills will help them access exciting and rewarding careers. We also support young to develop skills such as confidence building, teamwork, and communication that will be essential for any role within digital and technology.

Encourage social mobility

By equipping young people with more knowledge about different careers in digital & technology, we empower them to make informed choices about their future careers.

Raise awareness

Our activities showcase the variety of different roles within digital & technology and help to raise awareness among young people, parents, and careers about the technical and non-technical roles in the sector.

Address skills gaps

We’re helping to close the skills gap left by the pandemic by supporting young people to develop essential skills such as communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork and confidence that will be crucial for their future careers.

Improve diversity

Through volunteering, our partners help to improve diversity within the sector by role modelling their professions, helping to increase awareness and aspirations among under-represented groups in the sector.

Provide opportunities

Our work brings to life all the opportunities in digital & technology and signposts young people to bootcamps, further study, or early entry routes into the sector such as apprenticeships.

At Key Stage 4 (14-15 years) the programme is more focused on specific job roles, skills and routes of entry through activities such as workplace visits, curriculum resources, speed networking, live briefs and podcasts.
