Green
To support the decarbonisation transition, the UK government has set an ambition to create 2 million green jobs by 2030. However, many people don’t know what a ‘green job’ is. Our work:
- Helps to raise awareness of green jobs in new and emerging industries, and ‘greening’ of traditional roles
- Educates students, carers, and teachers about the opportunities and long-term career options in the sector
- Supports young people to build essential skills that will be needed in any job in the green economy such as communication, interpersonal skills, and confidence
Built Environment
Our programmes and activities support the built environment sector to increase and evidence its social value including:
- Improving diversity and inclusion within the built environment
- Raising awareness of green and sustainable practices
- Including the youth voice and youth consultation in redevelopment projects
Professional Services
Our programmes and activities support professional services businesses to create social value and develop their teams through:
- Volunteering opportunities
- Delivering workshops, developing personal and professional skills
- Role modelling their profession for the future workforce
Health & Care
Our Health & Care programmes seek to address future workforce challenges in the health and care sector by:
- Spotlighting essential roles including non-clinical roles and allied professional roles
- Empowering young people to develop essential transferable skills
- Providing learning and development opportunities to health and care professionals
Transport
Working with key stakeholders and industry leaders, our programmes support:
