Green

Green

To support the decarbonisation transition, the UK government has set an ambition to create 2 million green jobs by 2030. However, many people don’t know what a ‘green job’ is. Our work:

  • Helps to raise awareness of green jobs in new and emerging industries, and ‘greening’ of traditional roles
  • Educates students, carers, and teachers about the opportunities and long-term career options in the sector
  • Supports young people to build essential skills that will be needed in any job in the green economy such as communication, interpersonal skills, and confidence
