Amplifying Youth Voice
Since September 2022, Growing Talent Morley has engaged young people local to Morley in a programme of activities that showcase the exciting career opportunities in the town and the regeneration projects that are planned as part of the Morley town deal.
The programme is designed to inspire and empower young people to feel included in the development of their local area. To date, Growing Talent Morley has included activities that empower young people to reflect on the changes in their area and put forward what they would like to see as part of the town’s redevelopment. In this way, young people have a say in the places and spaces they will use now and in the future.

- 4,320 young people have been supported
- 130 volunteers have taken part
- 39 activities have taken place…and counting!
How does it work?
Growing Talent Morley is a collaborative programme of engagement with schools and young people that enhances awareness and interest in digital skills and careers linked to job opportunities in and around Morley.
We welcome businesses of all sizes and sectors with a presence in Morley to come together through collaborative activities, event sponsorship, volunteering opportunities or bespoke events to support young people in Morley and build a pipeline of talent in the local area.
