Leeds Manufacturing Festival Careers & Apprenticeships Careers Panel

As part of this year's Leeds Manufacturing Festival we're working with manufacturing employers from across the city to deliver manufacturing careers showcases, careers fairs in schools, online careers panels and visits to some of Leeds’ leading manufacturing firms.

Schools and colleges can now request access to our careers panel, filmed live at Temple Moor High School on March 2023, which examines career pathways, entry routes and the skills needed for a career in modern manufacturing. The panel also covers information about apprenticeships in the sector from real apprentices.

The panellists include volunteers in a range of roles from Sulzer, Sika Everbuild, OPM and MPM and this panel includes questions from real students in Year 9, but is suitable for any secondary school year group.

The video can be viewed on any device and is suitable for sharing in lesson time, form time, PSHE or for watching at home. This may also be suitable for sharing with parents and carers too.
