ABOUT THIS POSITION

Are you a highly organised and self-driven administrator with a passion for supporting young people?

We need a highly organised and self-driven administrator to support our passionate team. If you enjoy a fast-paced, exciting, fun environment – working with a hugely supportive team, undertaking a wide range of tasks and doing work that really makes a positive difference to our society, then this could be the role for you!

This role requires someone who is able to pick up new tasks quickly and adapt to different ways of working as you work with a wide variety of individuals across our team. You need to be able to manage multiple tasks and be proactive about your work, able to work autonomously in our flat structure. You will need to have strong Microsoft Office skills and be confident learning new software.

In exchange you will get real job satisfaction by supporting work with real social purpose, in an organisation that values its employees and supports personal development.

You will work alongside three other administrators as well as our wider team of different roles.

Please note – An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. Infrequent occasional unsociable hours and travel may be required

Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that some groups of people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Ahead Partnership we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

To Apply for this role please send your CV and a covering letter to recruitment@aheadpartnership.org.uk stating the role you are applying for.

You will also need to follow this link and complete this Online Assessment

We use online testing as it helps to ensure that all applicants have a fair and equal chance, by minimising unconscious bias in our hiring process. It also helps us assess skills rather than relying entirely on experience.

The assessment will allow you to demonstrate your attention to detail, problem solving and communication skills, it will take around 30 minutes to complete, we recommend using a laptop or PC, a phone screen is unlikely to be large enough to complete the test accurately. The test is timed so please ensure you have sufficient time to complete the test from starting it.
The test will allow additional time for candidates with additional requirements, but if you have any concerns regarding any factors that you feel will affect your ability to complete the test please include this information with your covering letter.
NB. – Clicking the link above will take you to a page where you will be asked to enter your email address, you will then be emailed a link to complete the test, it is possible this may go to a spam or junk folder

Please note we will only be able to consider applications where the online assessment has been completed.

The role is subject to satisfactory references, a satisfactory DBS check, and a six-month probation period.
