Students praised by Mayor for innovative efforts to tackle Climate Crisis
Three groups of students from Leeds schools have been praised by the Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, for their innovative ideas to help reduce their school’s impact on the environment. Pupils from Carr Manor Community School, Co-op Academy Leeds and Cockburn John Charles Academy each created an idea for an app which could help schools across the region focus more on sustainable operations and address the climate crisis as part of a Green Tech Challenge delivered by Ahead Partnership.

Four in ten students advised against pursuing their dream job as just 16% consider law
Whilst law can be a fulfilling and rewarding career for people from every background, young people in the UK are being discouraged from studying the subject according to research by leading law firm Walker Morris. The new research shows that four in ten (38%) young people have been advised against pursuing their chosen career path, with just 16% expressing that they had ever considered a career in law.

Ahead Partnership land in Portugal for European research project
Earlier this month Lola and Faron from the Ahead Partnership team flew to Lisbon to take part in a project partner meeting hosted by PIN - partners in neuroscience for the DesignMyFuture project.
